FLYING...
Cinema, half image projected by light and half darkness going from one image to the next, is like Running: the impossible attempt to take off and fly, together with other volatiles, never "hanging up" your wings! This is Cinema: forty-eight flashes of light beamed by a lamp inside a projector, at the standard rate of twenty-four frames per second. And you know why the number of flashes is not 24 like it would be logical to think? Because the shutter has to open but it also has to close... There's no opening without closing! And half of Cinema is made of darkness! This is running: hard workouts, day after day, kilometre after kilometre, mixing artfully fartleks, hills, intervals, tempo runs, slow recovery runs, carefully balancing the intensity for the body to absorb them. You can't just work out hard all the time: the irony of fate, when you rest, thanks to super compensation, you become stronger. Time to fly.
